The work of maidaan cinema started on 19 August 2019 but the work of maidaan cinema was stopped for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was eventually scheduled to release in theaters on 3 June 2022 but was delayed due to the upcoming post-production work. Now it is slated to release in theaters on 12 May 2023.
